Reduced-cost counselling

I provide reduced-cost counselling for people experiencing financial barriers to accessing the care they need. Please note that the waitlist is several months long, and there are some formal steps to determining fees.

I do offer another option that is suitable for most people, and more readily accessible. Read on for more information.

Counselling with Masters interns

At any given time I supervise two or three Masters-level interns completing the requirements for becoming registered counsellors. Over the course of their internship (usually 7 months) they develop a solid body of counselling skills, while engaged in a comprehensive program to refine and hone their practice.

By the time they start seeing clients, interns are competent in addressing non-life-threatening problems. Examples include anxiety, depression, (some) substance use issues, life stressors and transitions, problems with self-esteem, emotional volatility, relationship problems, and more.

If you’re interested in working with one of the interns, please contact me for more information. You can also learn more about each of them at Cedarwood Counselling Collective.
